A dark rainy night, the windshield wipers barely keeping up with the drops of rain bombarding the only thing in between you and the howling darkness. Wait a minute! What was that? Two red glowing eyes peering at you from the midnight sky and then....gone!
The Mothman was first sighted in November of 1966 by two young lovers parked outside of the North Power
plant in Point Pleasant WV. The Mothman is said to be a manlike creature with wings similiar in shape to that of a "moth" with
glowing red eyes. Although Point Pleasant has had a tremendous amount of sightings, the Mothman has also been spotted near
Clairesville Ohio, Ashland Kentucky, Cicero Illinois, Sioux Falls South Dakota, and even as far away as Khabarovsk Russia.
With all of the sightings that have been reported, there are still a lot of skeptics, but there are still a lot of us who want
to see this creature and are willing to search and wait for this moment.
